Chess is offered at basic beginner level through to advanced. The game of chess draws upon a long list of skills including: logical thinking; intuition; memory; anticipating/thinking ahead; self-discipline and sportsmanship. Chess is a great way to expand your child’s thinking in a fun-learning environment.

Gifted Education
Gifted Education is tailored towards bright students who require more challenging work beyond the school curriculum. EM2 extends children’s thinking skills with puzzle-based and problem-solving work. Set problems and activities are selected with care depending on the student’s current ability level.

Philosophy
Philosophy is fundamentally about ‘the big questions’. For example: How did the Universe begin? What is consciousness? There is no right or wrong answer in Philosophy. Students are encouraged to think (and argue) creatively and independently, whilst maintaining a logical rigour to support their work.
